Keep the
conversation.
Stop carrying
the handoffs.

Plan in ChatGPT Work or Claude Desktop. Your assistant turns agreed decisions into a focused brief for Claude Code, then brings back a clear report—without you copying messages between chats.

Your ideas. Your projects. Your decisions.

Use ChatGPT Work in the desktop app or Claude Desktop for your conversations. Claude Code remains the coding destination. Its own permissions and approvals still apply.

Turn the conversation into a clear brief.

Explore ideas and make decisions with your assistant. It gives the coding agent the agreed goal, boundaries, and expected result, without the abandoned ideas and conversational detours.

Give each project a clear contact.

A project may have several Claude Code chats. Choose the one that knows the current work; the oldest chat is not automatically the boss.

Get the result in plain language.

The coding agent reports back. Your assistant retrieves and reviews that report, then explains what changed, what was checked, and what still needs your decision. Inbox and Tests keep requested checks visible.

Keep control where it belongs.

You choose the visible project folders and the boss for each project. Approvals in the AI apps remain there when your attention is needed.

Before you connect

A few useful
things to know.

A local bridge between your existing tools. A clearer workflow for the projects you’re already building.

Do I need one chat for every project?

It’s the recommended workflow: keep a focused conversation for each project and route requests to its chosen boss. The bridge does not enforce pairings; a conversation can reach any permitted boss by name.

Does discovery start work automatically?

No. Allowing a project folder lets the bridge discover saved Claude Code chats for matching projects. You still choose a boss, start listening, and send a request. Discovery does not start agents or authorize changes.

How do I get the report back?

Your conversation assistant checks for the boss’s reply and explains it. For longer tasks, come back and ask your assistant to check for the report.

Do I still need Claude Code?

Yes. It does the coding. Bridge Hub connects your conversation assistant to it; it does not replace it. You may still open Claude Code for native approvals, direct review, or recovery.

Does everything stay on my computer?

The bridge’s mailbox and its own records are local. ChatGPT and Claude still use their providers’ services. Information an assistant reads through the bridge becomes part of that conversation.

Which apps is this page for?

This Windows workflow uses ChatGPT Work in the desktop app or a Claude Desktop conversation, with Claude Code as the coding destination. Regular web and mobile chats are outside this setup.
